This is the rule to change from bank

As per RBI’s decision, you can deposit Rs 2000 bank note in your account or go to any other bank’s branch to exchange Rs 2000 note to Rs 100 or Rs 500 note. If you deposit 2000 rupees note in bank account then there is no restriction and limit on it. On the other hand, if you are going to change the notes in another branch, then you can change the notes of 2000 rupees from the limit of 20,000 rupees. Means you can exchange Rs 20,000 from any other bank branch.
