There will be a charge for changing notes
RBI has given permission to the customers to change 10 notes of Rs 2000 i.e. Rs 20,000 at a time. Customers can exchange notes from 23 May 2023 to 30 September 2023. At present, banks have decided to charge for changing the notes. However, RBI has not imposed any limit on the number of times a person can exchange or deposit notes.

State Bank of India
SBI is giving the facility of 3 free cash deposits to the customers. At the same time, after this the bank has decided to take GST along with 50 rupees. Apart from this, this facility will also be applicable for any customer to deposit money in his account. At the same time, on depositing money through debit card, GST will have to be deposited along with Rs 22.
HDFC Bank
Apart from this, private bank HDFC Bank is giving customers the facility of 4 free transactions every month. On the other hand, if you do more transactions than this limit, then you will have to pay Rs 150 as transaction fee. Apart from this, after the limit, customers will be able to deposit Rs 2 lakh every month. At the same time, if you do more than this, you will have to pay tax of Rs 5 or Rs 150.
ICICI Bank
Apart from this, the private sector has given the facility of free transaction 4 times in a month. For transactions more than this, a charge of Rs 150 will have to be paid. Customers can deposit only Rs 1 lakh in their savings account in a month. After this limit, Rs 5 per Rs 1000 or Rs 150 whichever is higher.
Kotak Bank
It has been said to give 5 free transactions to Kotak Bank customers. In this, customers get the facility of both deposit and withdrawal. From this, about 150 rupees will be imposed as a charge.
