23 September Importance: 23 September has special significance in the Hindu calendar. Today, day and night are equal. Today, both day and night will be equal to 12-12 hours. From then onwards, the Sun will enter the Southern Hemisphere and due to this the days will start to become shorter and nights longer.

It happens twice a year when day and night are equal. This happens on 21 March and 23 September. From 22 March, the days start getting longer and the nights are shorter. On 21 March and 23 September, the Earth’s equator falls exactly opposite to the Sun, making day and night equal. After this, the call of winter begins. The days are short while the nights are long. From March 21 onwards, heat knocks. Days become longer and nights become shorter.

Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology meteorologist Dr. SN Sunil Pandey said that on September 23, the Earth’s weather changes when the sun enters the southern shell. This is due to the rotation of the Sun and Earth in the Solar System (regular rotation). The rays of the sun fall obliquely on the earth. This is the reason why the pink cools after September 23.

Importance of 22 December and 21 June:

The dates of 22 December and 21 June are also of great importance in the Hindu calendar. On June 21, the South Pole is the most distant from the Sun. Due to the maximum distance of the Sun, the day is the largest and the night is the shortest. In contrast, on 22 December, the Sun moves from Dakshinayan towards Uttarayan, making 22 December the shortest day and the biggest night.
