35 hours Corona curfew: CM Yogi gave instructions, workers-competitors and essential services will be exempt, ID should be with you

A 35-hour corona curfew will begin in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday night from 8 pm to break the corona virus infection chain. The curfew will continue till 7 am on Monday.




During this time, strictures will be done with those leaving without any necessary work but many people including the workers going to or returning to their work places, candidates going for competitive examination, people related to essential services, polling parties of Panchayat Elections with conditions. There will be relaxation of movement. For competitive examination candidates, their ID will be considered as curfew pass.

CM Yogi has given many instructions to the officials regarding the Corona curfew. According to the wedding wedding instructions, all matrimonial ceremonies have to be held on Saturday-Sunday with a maximum of 50 persons inside closed places and 100 people in open places. During this time, the use of masks, social distance and sanitizer will be mandatory. All types of examinations will be allowed and those who attend will be allowed to go with the ID card. Public transport will be allowed to run especially buses of the Transport Corporation with 50 per cent capacity. Only 20 people will be allowed to go to the funeral.

Exemptions and restrictions The

essential services during the corona curfew, polling parties connected with panchayat elections, health workers, cleanliness, etc. will be allowed to travel. All markets, offices except essential services will remain closed. During this period, the Sanitation and Fogging will be carried out by the Fire Department at the Municipal Corporation, Nagar Panchayat and Gram Panchayat level and by the sugar mills by running a special campaign for cleanliness.

Fines of up to 10000 for the first time for not applying the mask for the second time. The

Chief Secretary has instructed the officers to ensure the imperative of masks in cities and rural areas. Failure to abide by this should be imposed with a fine of Rs.1000 for the first time and a maximum of Rs.10000 for the second time. Instructions have been given to make the police station responsible for enforcing the imperative of masks. Senior officers of police and administration will also inspect the main roads, squares and markets and implement the imperative of masks.

According to the mandate of the Revenue Department and Health Department’s guide line in each district, DM will be responsible for not having a

quarantine setting; Instructions have been given to make the quarantine center available by Thursday night itself. The District Magistrate and the Revenue Officer concerned will be responsible for the districts from which this information is not given till Thursday night.

Corona investigation will be conducted by police personnel by setting up camps and

instructions have been given to police officers at district level to review the arrangements made to prevent infection of corona in police personnel. Camps have been asked to be conducted in the police line. Instructions have been given to the fire department for daily fogging on the police line, police post, police station and police office.




The Commissioner of Police, District Magistrate, Senior Superintendent of Police, Superintendents of Police have been directed to ensure the system of screening and testing at railway stations, bus stations and airports. Drug inspectors have been asked to arrange oxygen supply in government, private hospitals, private medical colleges. The Chief Secretary has said that resources are needed to protect Kovid-19 in male corporations. The municipal corporations have been asked to immediately send the demand letter to the Municipal Development Department and the Revenue Department.
