House lizards are called house jicos. They are harmless and non-toxic, but they are so vicious that you will only drive them out of the house. Once they come inside the house, they will not leave your house quickly. Therefore, they should be removed as soon as possible. Which is also good for your home. So we have taken some simple home remedies to get rid of these lizards, which is possible without killing them.
Use pepper spray
Black pepper is an ingredient that irritates lizards and causes an allergic reaction in them. You can mix black pepper powder at home and spray it in every lizard corner. You can also use chili flakes or red chili powder instead of black pepper powder.
Keep egg peel
Do not throw away those egg shells. Use them to get rid of lizards in your home. Simply wipe them thoroughly with a cloth and keep them in places where lizards are frequent. Lizards dislike the smell coming from the eggs and thus, keeping the eggs is effective in taking them away.
Place onion or garlic in the corners
Both onion and garlic have a strong smell, which is known to drive away home lizards. To get rid of the lizard, place a few pieces of garlic and onion slices in the corner of your home lizard. With this, they will run away from home and will not come back in future.
Use naphthalene balls
Naphthalene balls are often used to protect clothes from mice and insects. They are effective in getting rid of lizards because they cannot tolerate the pungent smell coming from balls. You can place them in drawers, near shelves and in those dirty corners to keep your home free from lizards.
