Fake 500 rupee notes are circulating in the whole of Bihar, due to which there is a need to be cautious. Bihar Police Headquarters has alerted all the districts in this regard.

The IG (Special Branch) of Police Headquarters wrote a letter to all DMs, SSPs, SPs and Railway SPs and said that there is a mistake in the spelling of Reserve Bank of India in the fake note. The 500 rupee note issued by the smugglers has Resarve Bank of India written instead of Reserve Bank of India.

In view of this, there is a need to run a special campaign to identify fake notes and maintain special administrative vigilance. A picture of a fake 500 rupee note has also been attached with the letter.
