Allowance for exchange of notes till September 30

Holders of Rs 2,000 note can either deposit it in their bank account or exchange it at the bank, the RBI Governor said. Banks have been instructed to make necessary arrangements to exchange Rs 2000 notes. He said, “It is hoped that most of the Rs 2000 notes will be returned by the deadline of September 30.”
