The second wave of Covid-19 is spreading rapidly in the country. With this, the government has also increased the pace of vaccination. By increasing the scope of vaccination, the central government has included all people above 45 years of age. However, it is seen that people are not coming in such a large number to get the vaccine as it was expected. A hesitation is being seen in people about getting vaccinated. To encourage people to get vaccinated, now the authorities are offering breathtaking offers to the people. These include other exemptions from property tax exemption to gold and hand blender.
On the other hand, the central government has also started a contest related to vaccination. Under this, people who get the vaccine are being given a reward of Rs 5,000.
In this contest, people who have got the vaccine or their household can take part. For this, you have to send an online entry and if your entry is selected then you will be given Rs 5,000.
If you want to take part in the contest, then you have to share a photo of yourself or a family member getting the vaccine. If someone has got a vaccine in your house or you have got a vaccine, then you can send your photo online. After this you can be selected for Rs 5,000. Along with this, you will also have to give a tagline with the photo, so that you know what is the importance of vaccination.
How to apply?
To participate in this contest, you have to go to the Mygov website. Here, you have to fill the information sought in the option of this contest and after that you can submit your entry. After this, the best entry will be selected by the government.
Who will get the reward?
Every month 10 entries will be selected through this contest. In such a situation, 5,000 rupees will be given on entry selection. MYgov’s official tweet gives information about it and the winner is told.
NDMC offers property tax rebate
In this series, the North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) has announced that if all the eligible members of a house get vaccinated, then the civic body will give an additional 5% rebate on the property tax on that house. This rebate in property tax will be in addition to all other rebates.
Mayor of North Delhi Municipal Corporation Jayaprakash has said that he has given instructions to make a detailed policy in this regard and it will be approved soon. NDMC is currently paying 15% tax rebate on filing the property tax return before June. In such a situation, now the families who get the vaccine will get a total 20% rebate in property tax.
Gold is available in Gujarat
To encourage people to get vaccinated, offers are being made at other places in the country. For example, in Rajkot, Gujarat, gold is being given to the vaccine. Not only this, other gifts are also being given to people in Rajkot on getting the vaccine. The goldsmith community of Rajkot is giving free gold nose pins to the women who get the vaccine and hand blender to the men. However, this benefit is being given only to the people of the goldsmith community.
However, even though people are being encouraged to get vaccinated through such gifts and discounts at different places, people should come forward to get the vaccine on their own instead of being lured by these gifts.
