South’s star Rajinikanth has been honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and the film Chhichhore has received the Rajat Kamal Award
67th National Film Awards: South’s superstar Rajinikanth has been honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Apart from Rajinikanth, Manoj Bajpayee, Dhanush and Kangana Ranaut have also been honored.
The award for Rajinikanth was announced in April itself. Since then his fans were very excited. Today he has been honored with this award.

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu honored Rajinikanth with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award at the National Film Awards function held in Delhi. At the ceremony, people honored Rajinikanth with a standing ovation. Rajinikanth has dedicated his award to the producers, directors, film fertility and fans.
Rajinikanth remembered his journey after being honored with the Dadasaheb Award. He recalled his journey from a bus conductor to a great actor and thanked his old friends who had asked him to join the film industry.
While Manoj Bajpayee was awarded the National Award for Best Actor for Bhonsle and South Star Dhanush for his outstanding performance in the Tamil movie Asuran. Kangana Ranaut has been given the National Award for Best Actress for Manikarnika and Panga.
The team of Sushant Singh Rajput’s film Chhichhore was also awarded the Best Hindi Film Award at the National Awards ceremony. His film Chhichhore has been awarded the Rajat Kamal Award.
