A joint team of Agriculture and Revenue Department is scrutinizing the beneficiaries in 75 districts of the state. During this investigation of the online system, these huge irregularities were detected.
Lucknow. In Uttar Pradesh, large-scale irregularities have been detected in the distribution of benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme. About 7.8 lakh such ineligible Jan Dhan accounts have been detected in the state, in which an amount of Rs 6000 each has been received. Of these, 2.3 lakh account holders are businessmen, businessmen and other professionals, who are taxpayers. The most surprising thing is that more than 32,000 beneficiaries have been found who have already died.

Girish Chand, Deputy Director, Agriculture Department, Bijnor said that about 7.79 lakh ineligible beneficiaries have been traced, who are wrongly taking benefits of PM Kisan Yojana . Their bank accounts are linked with Aadhaar and PAN card, which helped us identify them.
He said that if government financial aid has been transferred to the account of a ineligible person, then there is a provision that that amount can be withdrawn. Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Director Vivek Kumar Singh said that the re-examination of the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi has been completed. Those in whose bank accounts the amount has been deposited by mistake or with the help of forged documents, the same will be recovered.
12,000 such accounts have been detected in Bijnor. 20,600 ineligible beneficiaries have been identified in Saharanpur. Similarly 12500 ineligible beneficiaries have been found in Muzaffarnagar and 9000 in Meerut.
