According to the National Council-JCM-Staff Side, the central government can announce the increase in DA of central employees in June. However, JCM officials say that the increase in DA for central employees will be at least 4 percent of the basic salary.
Will there be a delay in increase in DA?
Siva Gopal Mishra, secretary of the staff side, explaining the reason behind the delay in DA hike of 1 January 2021, says that we are in constant touch with the Department of Expenditure and Department of Personal and Training (DoPT) officials of the Ministry of Finance.
