Union Minister Jitendra Singh said that the ‘Disability Compensation’ has been extended to all serving employees of the Central Government who become crippled while on duty and they are retained in service despite such disability. According to official sources, Home Minister Amit Shah will today hand over the first Ayushman Health Card to a Chief, a Sub Officer and a Jawan, who will be from the CRPF, BSF, CISF, ITBP and SSB of CAPFs. Apart from this, NSG and Assam Rifles will also get these health cards.

A senior official told the news agency PTI that ‘Ayushman CAPF Health Scheme can be launched by Home Minister Amit Shah in Guwahati on January 23. A presentation will be given about the scheme, beneficiaries will also be called during this event. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the

53 crore people benefit from the scheme
Under this scheme, there is a health cover of Rs 5 lakh per family per year. This benefits 10.74 crore poor families (about 53 crore people). Under this scheme, beneficiaries get cashless and paperless facilities at the time of need.
