In a release issued by the state government after the cabinet meeting of the Jharkhand government, it has been informed that the approval has been given to increase the rates of dearness allowance by three percent from July 1 in the pay scales of the pensioners and employees of the state government. That is, now the rate of dearness allowance has been increased from 28 percent to 31 percent. Along with this, pensioners and family pensioners who have been revised from January 1, 2016, will get the benefit of increased dearness allowance from July 1, 2021. With effect from January 2016, DA has also been increased by 3% in the revised pay scale with effect from July 1, 2021.
- Approval was given to increase the rates of dearness allowance to the employees of the state government in the unrevised pay scale (6th central pay scale) with effect from 01.07.2021.
- Approval has been given to increase the rates of dearness relief to state government pensioners/family pensioners in the unrevised pay scale (6th central pay scale) with effect from 01.07.2021.
- Approval was given to increase the rates of dearness allowance to the employees of the state government in the unrevised pay scale (fifth pay scale) with effect from 01.07.2021.
- Approval has been given to increase the rates of dearness allowance to the employees of the state government with effect from 1st July, 2021 in the revised pay scale (7th central pay scale) with effect from 1st January, 2016.
- With effect from 01.07.2021, the rate of Dearness Allowance has been approved as 31% from the existing rate of 28%.
- Approval has been given to increase the rates of dearness relief to the pensioners/family pensioners of the State Government with effect from 1st January, 2016 with effect from 1st July, 2016. It has been decided to increase the rate of dearness relief from the present rate of 28% to 31% with effect from 01.07.2021.
- During the period from January 2020 to June 2021, approval was given to calculate dearness allowance for payment of gratuity to state employees and an amount equivalent to earned leave.
