New Delhi: These days the Modi government at the Center is kind to the employees and is giving them allowances every day. After giving 31 percent dearness allowance and dearness relief to central employees pensioners under the 7th Pay Commission, now a big gift has been given to BSNL employees. Under this, the DA of BSNL employees has been increased by 9.3 percent (DA Hike). The special thing is that with this increased DA, the House Rent Allowance will also increase (HRA Hike). This will give double benefit to the employees and salary will increase in November 2021.

In fact, on the day of Chhat Puja, the Central Government has increased the dearness allowance of BSNL employees by 9.3 percent i.e. now the dearness allowance has increased from 170 percent to 179.3 percent. This benefit will be available to the employees who are paid on the basis of pay revision of 2007, as well as to those below the board level and board level. Also, it is a matter of happiness that these employees will also get increased house rent allowance i.e. the employees will get double benefit. The benefit of this increased DA and HRA will be available only in the salary of November, which will be a huge amount with relief for the employees.

Let us tell you that this increased Dearness Allowance (DA) will be applicable from November 2021 i.e. in November itself, the salary of these employees will increase. The employees will also get an increase in the house rent allowance (HRA Hike). This will give double benefit to the employees simultaneously. DA for employees was increased from 170.5 per cent to 173.8 per cent with effect from July 1, 2021, then to 179.3 per cent with effect from October 1, 2021. Recently, out of a total of 1,49,577 employees in Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, 78,323 had taken voluntary retirement (VRS) by the government.
