7th Pay Commission Update: There is going to be an increase in DA of Central Govt Employees, but before that the government has given great news regarding the promotion of the employees. This will benefit those employees who are taking salary under the Seventh Pay Commission and are under the Defense Ministry. The government has made changes in the promotion rules, information about which has been given by issuing a notification.
Defense Ministry gave information
The promotion list has been released for defense civilian employees of the Ministry of Defense. The rules of minimum service have been amended.

According to our associate website Zee Business, revised criteria have been set for defense employees under the Defense Ministry of the Central Government. A notification in this regard has been issued by the Defense Ministry. Information about eligibility for promotion is given in this notification.

How much experience will you need?
According to the list of service for promotion, employees in level 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 should have 3 years of experience. For level 2 to 4, there should be 8 years of experience. Whereas for level 3 to 4, there should be 5 years of experience. Employees up to level 17 are required to have 1 year of experience and for levels 6 to 11, they are required to have 12 years of experience. On the basis of this, employees will be given promotion.
Dearness allowance will increase soon
The central government may soon give the gift of increase in DA to the employees. DA can be announced in the cabinet meeting to be held in the month of September. Lakhs of employees and pensioners will benefit from this. This year, dearness allowance will be announced by the government for the second time, after which there will be a bumper increase in the salary of the employees. The increased dearness allowance will be applicable from July 1, 2023.
