The government can make a big announcement for the employees by the end of this year-beginning of next year. Although no decision has been taken yet on the new pay commission, but with the dearness allowance of the employees being 50%, their minimum wage will be increased to a Can be revised again and again.
Direct increase of 8000 possible in basic salary
The central government can take an important decision for 50 lakh employees of the state. Their minimum wage can be increased. If this happens, then there will be a direct increase of ₹ 8000 in the basic salary of central employees. Due to revision in the fitment factor of central employees, the basic salary may increase from Rs 18000 to Rs 26000. At present, no official confirmation has been given on this by the Central Government.
Employee union demand
The employees union demands that the fitment factor should be increased to 3.68 while the government is preparing to increase it to three percent. The same government employees were also demanding from the government to increase the fitment factor for a long time. At present the fitment factor of government employees is 2.57 with which their basic salary is Rs 18000.
If the fitment factor is increased to 3.68 then the basic salary will become Rs 26000. Whereas if the minimum salary is Rs 18000, then excluding allowances, they are being provided Rs 46260 at the rate of 2.57 feet, whereas in case the fitment factor is 3.68, their salary can increase up to Rs 95680.
4% increase in DA soon
