The calculation of dearness relief will also be done on this basis. This will not include any other payment.

Earlier this month, the government had announced one time interest free festival advance for central employees. Under this, employees will be able to take an advance of 10 thousand rupees if needed. No interest will be charged on this. It can be taken through prepaid Rupay card. It is believed that this will help in increasing consumer spending. At the same time, apart from this, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has also announced a special LTC cash scheme. Central government employees will get the benefit of this.
