Soon lakhs of employees are going to get double benefit i.e. appraisal will be done along with increase in DA, after which their salary will increase more. Along with this there will also be promotion. Let us tell you that the appraisal window has been opened for the employees. Appraisal window will remain open till June 30. All employees will have to fill their self-assessment form and submit it on time by 30th.
The appraisal will be done under the ‘Annual Performance Assessment Report’ (APAR). Explain that all central employees will be included in this appraisal cycle. At present, this appraisal window has been opened for Group A, Group B, Group C employees.
This work is to be completed by December 31, in view of the second wave of corona spreading across the country, the government said that this work should be completed by December 31, 2021. After this the appraisal will not be carried forward. Earlier last year also, the government had extended the date of APAR of central employees for 2019-20.
Work will be done through SPARROW portal
The government has started the work of appraisal of officers of Group A, B and C of CSS, CSSS and CSCS cadre. The appraisal work is to be done for 2020-21 under the SPARROW portal.
According to DoPT, online forms have been given to central employees. Now the process of increment has started. Employees have to submit their form to the reporting officer by June 30. The entire process will be completed by December 31.
Salary may increase till July
Let us tell you that employees are currently paid DA at the rate of 17 percent, which is expected to increase from 11 percent to 28 percent. This will increase their salary tremendously. At the same time, the employees are going to get the benefit of DA for two years directly, because the dearness allowance of central employees was increased by 4 percent in January 2020, then there was an increase of 3 percent in the second half i.e. June 2020, now dearness allowance in January 2021 Once again it has increased by 4 percent i.e. the total has gone up to 28 percent.
