DA hike in Karnataka

The Government of Karnataka has revised the rate of DA by 4% for the employees. The DA rate in the state has been increased from 31% to 35%. The new rate has been implemented from January 1, 2023. The state government has also increased the dearness relief (DR) rate for pensioners from 31% to 35%.

DA increased in UP

The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to increase the DA of lakhs of its employees in May. The UP government has decided to give 4% hike in DA and DR to its employees and pensioners from January 1, 2023. After the hike, the rate of DA and DR for employees and pensioners has increased from 38 per cent to 42 per cent.

DA increased in Tamil Nadu as well

The Tamil Nadu government this month increased the dearness allowance and dearness relief under the 7th Pay Commission for lakhs of employees and pensioners of the state. An increase of 4% DA and DR has been approved by the government. The change made in DA will be effective from 1 April 2023. In Tamil Nadu, dearness allowance has been increased from 38 percent to 42 percent.

DA hike in Haryana

In the month of April itself, DA has been increased for such employees of Haryana Government, who are getting salary under 7th Pay Commission. The Manohar Lal Khattar government of Haryana has increased the DA of state government employees from 38 percent to 42 percent. It was announced in April.

DA increased in Himachal and Jharkhand as well

Himachal Pradesh and Jharkhand government also announced DA hike in April. In April, the Jharkhand government has increased the DA from 34% to 42%. At the same time, the Himachal Pradesh government has increased the DA by 3%. After this it has increased from 31% to 34%. The DA hike in Himachal Pradesh is effective from January 1, 2022, while the DA hike in Jharkhand is applicable from January 1, 2023.

Workers fun in Gujarat

Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel has recently announced an increase in DA / DR by 8 percent for state employees and pensioners under the Seventh Pay Commission. The 8 percent increase in DA by the government will be implemented in two parts. The first four percent DA will be effective from July 1, 2022. While the remaining 4 percent increase in DA will be applicable from January 1, 2023.
