According to the Finance Ministry, the Dearness Allowance (DA Hike) of the employees in the Central Government and Central Autonomous Bodies under the recommendations of the Fifth-Sixth Pay Commission has been increased from 189 percent of the basic salary to 196 percent. This increase will be considered effective from 15 July 2021.
New Delhi. The Modi government of the Center has again given the gift of Diwali to some government employees. In fact, under the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission (6th pay commission) of the Central Government and under the recommendations of the Fifth Pay Commission (5th pay commission) of the Central Autonomous Bodies, the Dearness Allowance (DA Hike) has been increased.
Whose how increased DA
Ministry of Finance (Finance Ministry), according to SPC central government employees who get paid by the Commission (Central Govt Employees) the dearness allowance has been increased by 7 per cent. At the same time, on the basis of the recommendations of the Fifth Pay Commission, the dearness allowance of the employees of Central Autonomous Bodies (CAB Employees) getting salary has been increased by 12 percent.

in the memorandum issued by the Ministry of Finance, it has been said that this increase will be considered applicable from July 15, 2021. According to the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission, the Dearness Allowance of the employees of the Central Government and Central Autonomous Bodies, who are paid salaries, has been increased from 189 percent of the basic salary to 196 percent.
According to the recommendations of the Fifth Pay Commission, the DA of the salaried employees has been increased from 356 per cent till now to 368 per cent. The Memorandum of the Center states that the DA of the employees of the Central Government and Central Autonomous Bodies receiving free-revised salary has been increased.
