7th Pay Commission: Before Holi, government employees of four states have received great news. Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Bihar governments have announced to increase the dearness allowance (DA Hike) of employees. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced to increase the dearness allowance of employees. After some time, Vishnudev Sai government of Chhattisgarh also decided to increase DA. State employees will now get 4 percent increase in dearness allowance.
MP DA Hike: Dearness allowance increased by 4%
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Friday (March 15) announced a 4% increase in the Dearness Allowance of state government employees, taking it to 46%. An official said that the increased DA will be paid to the employees from July 1 last year. He said, the DA dues from July 1, 2023 to February 29, 2024 will be paid in three equal installments in July, August and September this year. DA for March this year will be paid next month. This step has been taken just before the Lok Sabha elections, the dates of which will be announced on Saturday.
Chhattisgarh DA Hike: Benefit will be available from March 1
Chhattisgarh has increased the DA of government employees by 4%, which will also benefit the pensioners. About 4 lakh employees and 1 lakh pensioners will get the benefit. The amount of the last installment of arrears of the seventh pay scale will also be received.
Haryana DA Hike: Will get increased DA in April
Haryana government also issued notification for payment of dearness allowance to government employees and pensioners. Haryana government increased DA by 4 percent. Now it has increased from 46% to 50%. Dearness allowance will be applicable from January 1, 2024. DA will be paid in April along with March salary.
Bihar DA Hike: 4 percent increase in DA
DA was increased by 4 percent in the cabinet meeting chaired by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. DA increased from 46% to 50%. Employees and pensioners of Bihar will benefit from this.
