7th Pay Commission: It seems easy to increase the salary of central employees once again. The government may again hike DA by 4 percent in July. If this DA increases, then the DA of the employees will increase from 42 per cent to 46 per cent.

The central government can give great news to its employees in July. For the second time this year in July, the government may increase the dearness allowance. If experts are to be believed, this time the government can increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) by 4 percent.

Salary may increase in July

Let us tell you that if everything goes well, then the central government can increase its employees by 4 percent from July 1. After this increase, the DA of central employees will increase from the existing 42 percent to 46 percent.

According to the report of the All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI), the Modi government at the Center may increase the DA in July.

Here you need to know that the dearness allowance (DA) of central employees is calculated on the basis of AICPI index.

Will there be a minimum increase in salary of Rs 8640?

If you keep in mind the increase of 4 percent, then according to this, if your minimum basic salary is Rs. 18,000, then it will increase by Rs. 720 every month from July. Accordingly, Rs 8640 will be increased annually.

If your basic salary is Rs 56,900 a month, then adding the 4 per cent hike in DA in July will increase your salary by Rs 2,276. On an annual basis, it will increase by Rs 27,312.

DA increases 2 times every year

Let us tell you that the central government gives dearness allowance to its employees twice a year to face the rising inflation. Last year, the dearness allowance of these employees was 34 per cent, even at that time the government had increased the DA by 4 per cent to 38 per cent for the first time.

This year i.e. in March 2023, the dearness allowance of the employees has again been increased by 4 percent from 38 to 42 percent. Let us tell you that this increase in March will be considered applicable from January 1. After this, once again there is talk of increasing DA by 4 percent in July.
