7th Pay Commission: Good News! 18 months DA arrears of central employees will come this month,check Latest Update

New Delhi: There is big news for 47.14 lakh central government employees and 68.62 lakh pensioners. According to media reports, after Diwali, the Modi government can take a decision on the DA arrears of 18 months in this.




According to the information, the matter of arrears is with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and he can find a solution soon. It is being told that after Diwali, the Prime Minister can take a big decision in this regard. However, at present, no new update has come from the government in this regard yet.

National Council of JCM secretary (staff side) Shiv Gopal Mishra said that the arrears of one and a half year have not been given yet. Talks are going on with the government regarding this. He said that in view of the demand of the employees, it is expected that the government will give arrears. Such a middle ground will be found so that the government and central employees can be helped.

The Indian Pensioners’ Forum (BMS) has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to clear the arrears of Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) of central employees and pensioners. The forum has written a letter to the Prime Minister appealing for help in this regard.

Let us tell you that the Finance Ministry had stopped the DA hike in May 2020 till 30 June 2021 due to Corona epidemic. It has been asked to restore it again from 1 July 2021.

Let us tell you that in July this year, the central government had increased the rate of DA from 17 percent to 28 percent. Now with an increase of 3 percent, the DA rate has been increased to 31 percent. The government has increased DA for the second time. The government has increased dearness allowance by 3 per cent from 28 to 31 per cent.

Can get more than 2 lakh arrears

The DA arrears of Level-1 employees range from Rs 11880 to Rs 37554. Whereas, for Level-13 (7th CPC basic pay scale Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900) or Level-14 (pay scale), the DA arrears in the hands of an employee will be Rs 1,44,200. 2,18,200 will be paid.

How much will be the arrears?

Central employees whose minimum grade pay is Rs 1800 (Level-1 Basic Pay Scale range 18000 to 56900) is awaiting Rs 4320 [{4 percent of 18000} X 6]. At the same time, [{4 percent of 56900}X6] people are waiting for Rs 13,656. Under the 7th Pay Commission, the Central employees will get DA arrears of Rs 3,240 [{3 percent of 18,000}X6] from July to December 2020 on the minimum grade pay. At the same time, those with [{3 percent of Rs 56,9003}X6] will get Rs 10,242. At the same time, if we calculate the DA arrears between January and July 2021, then it will be 4,320 [{4 percent of Rs 18,000}X6]. At the same time, [{4 per cent of ₹56,900}X6] will be Rs.13,656.
