7th pay commission: Although the festival of Holi is being celebrated across the country on 25th March, but the real Holi for central employees will be on 30th March. We are saying this because the salaries of central employees are expected to arrive by March 30. There will be a big increase in the salary that is going to come this time.

Actually, March 31 is a Sunday, so it is being estimated that the increased salary of central employees will come on March 30 only. However, the Central Reserve Bank has directed to open banks on Sunday, March 31. Let us tell you that March 31 is also the last day of the current financial year. This is the reason why the Reserve Bank has asked banks to open branches.

Why will salary increase

There has been an increase of 4 percent in the dearness allowance or DA of central employees. With this, the allowance of employees has now increased from 46 percent to 50 percent. This has come into effect from last January, so central employees will also get arrears for two months – January and February. This means that in addition to the arrears of 2 months, the increased allowance for March will also be added to the salary for March.

HRA will also increase

As the allowance of Central Government employees has reached 50%, the House Rent Allowance i.e. HRA has also increased. Depending on the category of the city, central employees will get up to 30 percent HRA. Apart from this, other allowances will also be added to the March salary of central employees.

Let us tell you that due to 50 percent DA, there has been an increase in the special allowance for childcare, child education allowance, hostel subsidy, travel allowance on transfer, dress allowance, gratuity ceiling, mileage allowance of central employees. However, all these allowances are available on claim.
