7th Pay Commission: Good News! New notification issued on 18 months DA arrears of central employees,check details immediately

7th pay commission latest news: Central employees have received the gift of DA. The government has increased the dearness allowance, which increases twice a year. The first was extended in July and the second in October. Now central government employees are getting a total of 31 percent dearness allowance. Just before Diwali, an increase of 3 percent was announced. However, pensioners feel that this gift is still incomplete. Dearness Allowance (DA) was not received from January 2020 to June 2021 i.e. for the last 18 months. Meaning a total of 18 months of arrear payment is outstanding. The pensioners staged a sit-in on 7 September over the arrears of Dearness relief for 18 months. A letter has also been written to the Finance Ministry and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this regard.

BMS wrote a letter to the Prime Minister

The Indian Pensioners’ Forum (BMS) has appealed to PM Modi to clear the arrears of dearness allowance (DA) and dearness relief (DR) of central employees and pensioners. Manch has written a letter to PM Modi asking him to help in this matter. Let us tell you, due to the Kovid-19 Pandemic, in May 2020, the DA hike was frozen till 30 June 2021. It has been reinstated from 1 July 2021.

Arrears stuck for one and a half year

According to Shiv Gopal Mishra, Secretary (Staff Side) of the National Council of JCM, the one and a half year arrear news has not been given yet. Talks are going on with the government continuously since June regarding this. He said that in view of the demand of the employees, it is expected that some agreement will be reached with the government. This is a huge amount for pensioners.

Can get more than 2 lakh arrears

The DA Arrear of Level-1 employees ranges between Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. Whereas, for Level-13 (7th CPC basic pay scale Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900) or Level-14 (pay scale), the DA arrears in the hands of an employee will be Rs 1,44,200. 2,18,200 will be paid.

How much will be the DA arrears?

Central employees whose minimum grade pay is Rs 1800 (Level-1 Basic Pay Scale range 18000 to 56900) is awaiting Rs 4320 [{4 percent of 18000} X 6]. At the same time, [{4 percent of 56900}X6] people are waiting for Rs 13,656. Under the 7th Pay Commission, the Central employees will get DA arrears of Rs 3,240 [{3 percent of 18,000}x6] from July to December 2020 on the minimum grade pay. At the same time, those with [{3 percent of Rs 56,9003}x6] will get Rs 10,242. At the same time, if we calculate the DA arrears between January and July 2021, then it will be 4,320 [{4 percent of Rs 18,000}x6]. At the same time, [{4 percent of ₹56,900}x6] will be Rs.13,656.
