Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while announcing the decision of 4 per cent DA hike, said that we have taken many revolutionary decisions in the interest of the employees. We have now decided to give 42 per cent dearness allowance equal to that of central government employees. Along with this, he said that the Madhya Pradesh government has also decided to pay the DA arrears for the period from January to June 2023 in three installments.

Those who complete 35 years of service will get more benefits

The Chief Minister said that the employees who are getting salary on the basis of 6th Pay Commission will get a similar increase in DA. Along with this, the state government will also give 4th Time Scale Pay to those who have completed 35 years in service by July 1, 2023.

What is Dearness Allowance?

It is known that to reduce the effect of rising inflation in the country, dearness allowance is given to the employees by the government. Due to increase in dearness allowance, the salary of lakhs of employees of the country increases. This is a part of their basic salary. If inflation increases in the country, then the government also increases the DA.
