The Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) has issued a recruitment notification for the post of Account Assistant in the pay matrix of 7th CPC on the basis of direct recruitment. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of IWAI ie iwai.nic.in. The last date for submission of IWAI online application and application fee is 14 February 2021.
Details of the posts: According to the official notification, the total number of posts is 8. Of these, the number of unreserved posts is reserved for 3, 2 posts for OBC category candidates, 1 for EWS class candidates and 1-1 for ST and SC candidates. Educational Qualification: To apply for the post of Account Assistant, candidates should have a Graduate from Commerce from a recognized institution and 3 years work experience in the relevant field after graduation and other prescribed qualifications. Candidates selected on these posts will be given a salary of Rs 35400 to Rs 112400 as per 7th CPC. Age Limit: The maximum age of the candidates to apply for the posts of Account Assistant is 30 years. Exemption will be given to reserved category candidates as per rules. General and OBC (creamy layer and non creamy layer) candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500. SC / ST, PWD and EWS candidates will have to pay 200 rupees as application fee.
