Salary will increase for the second time in a year in July
It is expected that the central government may once again increase the dearness allowance of 4 per cent from July 1. If this happens, the DA of central employees will increase from 42 per cent to 46 per cent. The same results are coming out from the report released by All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI) that the Modi government may once again increase the dearness allowance by 4 percent in the month of July. The dearness allowance of the employees is calculated on the basis of AICPI index.
Minimum salary will increase by Rs 8,640
Let us tell you that if the basic salary of an employee is Rs 18,000, then his salary will increase by Rs 720 every month. That is, the salary of the employees will get increased by Rs 8640 annually. On the other hand, if the basic of the employees is Rs 56,900 per month, then the salary will increase by Rs 2,276 per month if the DA is increased by 4 per cent in July. That means, on an annual basis, Rs 27,312 will increase.
The government increases DA twice a year.
Last year, the dearness allowance received by the employees was 34 percent, then the government had increased the DA by 4 percent for the first time. After that the DA received by the employees was increased to 38 per cent. In March this year, the dearness allowance of the employees was increased by 4 per cent, which increased to 42 per cent. This increase was considered applicable from January 1. Now once again DA is expected to be increased to 46 per cent in July. The central government increases the salary of government employees twice a year in January and July.
