7th pay commission: These government employees got a gift, now apart from DA, they will get increased medical claim

Now the amount of medical claim has been increased for the Central Government employees working in Navodaya Vidyalaya School. Now they can take a claim of up to 25 thousand.

Central employees have been waiting for an increase in dearness allowance for a long time. While it is likely to be available from July, there is another good news for the central government employees working in Navodaya Vidyalaya School (NVS). Now they will get more medical claim apart from DA. According to a circular issued by the Ministry of Education, the limit for medical claims of NVS principals has been increased from Rs 5000 to Rs 25,000. This will help them.

As per the circular, the Central Government has revised the annual medical reimbursement claim limit for the Principals of NVS. The circular announced that the existing limit of Rs 5,000 for NBS principal has now been increased to Rs 25,000 if treated in a government or CGHS recognized hospital.

This medical claim can be taken by the employee for himself or his family members. However, their name should be mentioned in the CGS card. Rest of the terms and conditions with respect to the maximum limit of medical reimbursement for NVS employees will remain the same. This is a good news regarding 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix of NVS Principals before DA restoration from 1st July.

There will be a meeting regarding DA in the end of June
Central employees waiting for DA can get good news soon. According to media reports, this time on June 26, 2021, the National Council of JCM will hold a meeting with representatives of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) and the Ministry of Finance. The main issue of this meeting is to pay DA dues to 7th Pay Commission to central employees and DR to pensioners. The Central Government had announced to re-pay Dearness Allowance (DA) to its staff from July 1, 2021. The decision being in favor of the employees will be beneficial for about 52 lakh employees and 60 lakh central pensioners.
