Currently, employees get a basic salary of Rs 18,000 per month under the 7th Pay Commission, which can be increased to Rs 51,480 per month.
Pensioners will also benefit from the fitment factor

Can be announced in Budget 2025-26

Although the date of formation of the 8th Pay Commission has not been decided yet, but according to media reports, this announcement can be made in the next budget 2025-26. According to some reports, the government can take a decision in this regard by December 2024 in the meeting of the National Council of Joint Consultative Machinery.
7th Pay Commission was formed in 2014
Let us tell you that 7th Pay Commission was formed in February 2014 and under this the salary of the employees was implemented from 1 January 2016. This commission had increased the minimum salary of the employees from Rs 7,000 to Rs 18,000 and also gave many other benefits.
