Due to the increasing pressure from the labor union, the government has made them happy. The decision has been taken on the formation of the next pay commission. Prime Minister Modi has approved it. There will be a huge jump in the salary of Central Government Employees
If sources are to be believed, then there will be the biggest increase in salary. It can definitely be said that the matter is moving forward. Sources also tell that it is too early to say what will come in the new pay commission and what will not. Because, its full responsibility will be of the chairman of the pay commission. The chairman of the new pay commission can also be announced in the year 2026. The committee will be formed under his supervision and after that the picture can be clear as to which formula should be used to increase the salary.
When can the 8th Pay Commission come?
The formation of the 8th Pay Commission has been approved. Now it will be formed before the year 2026. Its recommendations will be implemented after the tenure of the 7th Pay Commission ends. According to experts, if this happens, there is a possibility of a huge jump in the salary of central employees. Many changes are possible in the 8th Pay Commission as compared to the 7th Pay Commission. There may also be some changes regarding the fitment factor. Let us tell you, till now the government constitutes a pay commission once in 10 years.
How much will the salary increase?
Compared to the 7th Pay Commission, the lottery of employees is going to be held in the 8th Pay Commission. If everything goes well, the biggest jump in the salary of the employees is expected. The fitment factor of the employees will increase to 3.68 times. Also, whatever the formula, the basic salary of the employees can increase by 44.44%.
This will be the minimum salary in the new pay commission!
After the implementation of the 8th Pay Commission, a bumper increase can be seen in the salary of central employees. If reports are to be believed, under this, the fitment factor can be fixed at least 2.86. If this happens, then the minimum basic salary of the employees will also see an increase accordingly and it can be Rs 51,480. It is worth noting that at present the minimum basic salary is Rs 18000. Along with this, pensioners will also get benefits according to this and their minimum pension can increase from the current Rs 9000 to Rs 25,740.
It is worth noting that this fitment factor plays an important role in deciding the salary of central employees. If we look at the calculation of the 7th Pay Commission, then the total salary received by the employees is decided on the basis of Basic Salary and Fitment factor in addition to all the allowances they get.
