When will the recommendations of the 8th Pay Commission be implemented?

Currently, salaries are being given in the country under the 7th Pay Commission. The period of the 7th Pay Commission is going to end on January 1, 2026. It was implemented on January 1, 2016. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav announced that the recommendations of the 8th Pay Commission will be ready by 2025 so that they can be implemented on time.

Now in the 8th Pay Commission, the fitment factor is expected to be 2.86, due to which the minimum basic salary can increase to Rs 51,480.
