UP Police leaves Ropar jail for Mukhtar Ansari, expected to reach Banda jail tomorrow morning

150 members of UP Police reached Ropar to take custody of Mukhtar Ansari. These policemen also include a company of UP PAC. According to the order of the Supreme Court, before April 8, Mukhtar has to be handed over to the UP Police.

After the Supreme Court’s order, Bahubali MLA Mukhtar Ansari of Uttar Pradesh is now being brought from the Jail of Punjab to Banda Jail in UP. The UP Police team left for Tuesday on Mukhtar, who is likely to reach Banda jail in the early hours of Wednesday.

The UP police team left from Ropar at 2.07 pm regarding Mukhtar. This convoy reached Karnal in Haryana by 4 pm while going through Punjab. During this time the speed of the convoy is about 80 km per hour. This convoy has not stopped during the journey so far. It can take about 15 hours to reach Banda from Ropar.

What is the route of the convoy

The UP Police team has left Mukhtar and based on the information received from the sources, the convoy of Mukhtar Ansari will pass through Hamirpur around 3 pm. Entering the border of Hamirpur district from Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun (Jolhupur turn), Mukhtar’s convoy will reach Banda jail via Hamirpur to Sumerpur.

It is believed that around 4 o’clock in the morning this convoy will reach Banda jail. All the police vehicles of Punjab have GPS installed. At Banda divisional headquarters, the commissioner and IG are monitoring all the vehicles with GPS. Mukhtar will be placed in barrack number 15 of Banda jail.

Mukhtar Ansari’s corona test was done before he was removed from Ropar in Punjab. After completing the necessary legal process this morning, after 2 pm, the UP Police team left Ropar jail with him. Mukhtar is placed in an ambulance. During this time, the team of doctors is also together. Seven to eight private vehicles are also running with the convoy. Not only this, strict security arrangements have been made.




Team of 150 policemen

The UP Police team has left Ropar in connection with Mukhtar Ansari, who is lodged in Ropar Jail. The police team took Mukhtar in an ambulance and left for Banda Jail in UP. Tight security arrangements have been made by the UP Police in front of the ambulance. A convoy of about 10 vehicles left for Banda, in which 150 policemen are said to be riders.

Earlier, 150 members of UP Police reached Ropar to get the custody of Mukhtar Ansari. A company of UP PAC is also included in these 150 policemen. According to the order of the Supreme Court of the country, Mukhtar has to be handed over to the UP police before April 8, after which a letter was written to Uttar Pradesh by the Punjab Home Department.

Banda jail’s security increased

Mukhtar Ansari, who is lodged in Rupnagar Jail of Ropar, is to be brought to Banda Jail in UP. Security was beefed up before Mukhtar was brought to Banda jail. A police security booth has been erected at the gate of Banda jail. Additional police personnel have been deployed at the police checkpoint outside the jail. The barrack in which Mukhtar will remain in the jail has also been fortified.

Mukhtar’s wife fears fake encounter

The UP government had to fight in the Supreme Court to get the custody of BSP MLA Mukhtar of Mau, Uttar Pradesh, but now that he is being brought to UP jail, Mukhtar’s family complains about security in Uttar Pradesh Used to be. Bahubali Mukhtar’s wife Afshan Ansari has expressed apprehension that a conspiracy could be hatched to kill him in a fake encounter.

Mukhtar’s MP brother Afzal will go to court

Mukhtar’s brother and Ghazipur’s BSP MP Afzal Ansari has meanwhile said that a conspiracy can be hatched against Mukhtar in UP jail. Afzal Ansari has also said to go to court for Mukhtar’s safety.

A case has also been registered against Mukhtar in Barabanki in the case of bringing Mukhtar Ansari to the Mohali court of Punjab in the ambulance of the UP number plate, and the first arrest has also been made from Mau. Mukhtar has 52 cases registered in Uttar Pradesh so far, 96 members of his gang have been arrested and action has been taken to seize and demolish assets worth more than Rs 192 crore.
