Kiku was accused of hurting the feelings of Ram Rahim’s followers, after which he was arrested. He was sent by the court to a 14-day judicial custody, but later he was also awarded bail. In the comedy world, the big name Kiku was arrested by the Haryana Police in Mumbai at that time. Action was taken against him under Section 295-A of the IPC.

police had told that a follower of Dera Sacha Sauda named Uday Singh had lodged a complaint against Kiku. After this, the police took action. Kiku was accused of making fun of the Dera Sacha Sauda chief over a MSG-2 movie during a comedy show.
In an interaction with the media about the arrest, Kiku apologized that he had done this on the direction of the director of the act channel and the producers of the program. I was given a dress, read the script and told the act by directing it. Blamed me for this and filed a case, but nothing happened to the rest, especially to the TV channel.
