IPL 2021: David Warner is not happy even after making half-century, making a record, told his own innings bad

David Warner scored a half-century against Chennai Super Kings and made several records to his name. He also completed his 10,000 runs in T20 cricket.

David Warner scored 57 runs in the match played against Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021 on Wednesday and gave his team Sunrisers Hyderabad a score of 171 runs. But Warner is not happy even after this innings. He criticized his own innings after the match and also claimed responsibility for the defeat. In this match, Chennai defeated Hyderabad by seven wickets. Chennai achieved the target by losing three wickets in 18.3 overs. Actually, Warner’s innings was very slow. He faced 55 balls. Warner is not happy with his slow innings. He believed that his bat produced runs at a very slow pace.

Warner made some records in this match. He became the batsman with 50 half-centuries in the IPL. He also completed his 10,000 runs in T20. But he carried a spam record in his name. Warner completed the half-century off 50 balls in this match. This is Warner’s slowest half-century in T20. Earlier in 2019, he scored a half-century off 49 balls against Kings XI Punjab. After the match, Warner said in the presentation ceremony, “I take full responsibility for the way I bat. It was a very slow shift. I was playing ball in the hands of fielders and then got upset. ”

Praise to Manish Pandey
In this match, Manish Pandey scored 61 runs from 46 balls with the help of five fours and a six. Warner was praised for his innings. The captain said, “Manish batted excellently and Kane Williamson gave us a respectable score. But I am completely responsible for the slow innings. I played at least 15 good shots in the hands of fielders. I could not do much in it. These are the things that make and break your innings. As a batsman you get very angry when you play in the hands of fielders. ”

Wickets were taken in Powerplay
The opening pair of Chennai’s Faf du Plessy and Rituraj Gaikwad laid the foundation for the team’s victory by having a superb century partnership. Warner admitted that his bowlers could not take wickets in the powerplay and this was one of the reasons for the defeat. He said, “We had about 170 runs on the board, but we could not take wickets in the powerplay. In such a situation, it is always difficult to make a comeback, especially on such a wicket. Both of his openers batted brilliantly. “
