The stock market opened sharply on Thursday. Today, the BSE Sensex opened at a level of 48844.62 with a gain of about 167.07 points. At the same time, the NSE Nifty opened with a gain of 37.60 points at the level of 14655.50. Today, trading started in a total of 1,039 companies on BSE, out of which about 876 shares opened up and 186 opened. At the same time, the prices of the shares of 67 companies opened without decreasing or increasing.

- Adani Ports stock opened at Rs 746.05 7, up nearly Rs 8.
- Bajaj Finserv shares opened up by Rs 64 to Rs 5,578.65.
- ONGC shares gained nearly Rs 2 to open at Rs 112.70.
- Coal India shares gained nearly Rs 1 to open at Rs 134.25.
Nifty top loser
- UPL’s stock lost nearly Rs 5 to open at Rs 635.25.
- Tata Steel shares opened at Rs 1,068.70, down nearly Rs 1.
- HCL Tech shares fell nearly Rs 1 to open at Rs 909.30.
- Bharti Airtel’s stock opened at Rs 559.00, down by almost Rs 1.
