7th Pay Commission: These decisions have been made for the central employees, a direct impact on the pocket

These decisions are having an impact on the employees. First of all, three pending installments of DA will be released to the employees soon. Recently, the government announced the release of the pending installment of the DA.

Three installments of DA (1.1.2020, 1.7.2020 and 1.1.2021) are pending. To resolve how long these pending installments will be paid, the National Council of JCM and officials of the Department of Personnel and Training and the Ministry of Finance (Department of Expenditure) are in regular contact. There is going to be a meeting on this issue in the last week of May.

At the same time, talk of Leave Travel Concession (LTC) Special Cash Package Scheme, the government has increased the deadline to take advantage of it. Now by May 31, employees can submit a bill to take advantage of this, whereas earlier this deadline was April 30. The government has taken this decision in view of the circumstances arising after the second ghastly wave of Corona.

A new guideline has been released regarding the working hours and physical attendance of central employees. Special guidelines have been issued in the guidelines for deputy secretary and its equivalent staff. Along with this, this guideline is also applicable to the post above deputy secretary.


The guideline states that employees working as deputy secretary and its equivalent posts and posts above deputy secretary will have to come to the office as before. According to the guidelines, only 50 percent of the personnel of the level of Under Secretary and below will have to be present in the office. The working hours of the officers have been done from 9 am to 5.30 pm, 9.30 am to 6 pm and 10 am to 6.30 pm respectively.
