This benefit will be available to BSNL customers whose validity of prepaid plan has expired from April 1 or later. The company says it will be beneficial for users experiencing difficulties since the second wave of the Free Benefits Corona Virus epidemic and the Tauktae storm.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has provided 2 months extra validity for all its prepaid customers. Not only this … The company is also offering 100 minutes of free calling to customers. Let me tell you, these days, one after another, telecom companies are extending a helping hand in their style to provide relief to the people affected during the corona virus epidemic. While the rest of Jio, Airtel and Vi Telecom companies have introduced relief plans for their low-income customers, BSNL is the only company to offer special offers to all its prepaid customers. However, this benefit will be available only to BSNL customers whose prepaid plan validity ends on or after April 1. The company says that these free benefits will prove beneficial for users who have been facing difficulties since the second wave of the Corona virus epidemic and the Tauktae storm.
BSNL has confirmed that the validity of the plan for affected prepaid subscribers is being extended till 31 May. This extension is free-of-cost, so that subscribers can continue to receive incoming calls even during this difficult time. As we mentioned, the extension in validity and 100 minutes of free calling benefits will be given to prepaid customers whose plan expired after April 1 or later.
BSNL Managing Director Pravin Kumar Purwar has also urged customers to resort to online option instead of relying on retail stores to recharge their mobile numbers.
Last month, BSNL announced a special tariff voucher (STV) extension of Rs 398 for its customers. However, this promotional offer was to end on 9 April, but now it has been made available till 8 July. This plan includes unlimited high-speed data, unlimited voice calls and daily 100 free SMS with a validity of 30 days.
