But many such cases are seen that despite updating the information repeatedly, your card is not updated. In such a situation, you can lodge a complaint by following the steps mentioned below:
Through UIDAI contact center
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the Aadhaar card issuing organization, has set up a contact center (Aadhaar Enrolment, Aadhaar Updation) to deal with any type of question or complaint or contact center. Any Aadhaar card holder can file his complaint using his Aadhaar number or enrollment number.

Complaint is also possible through UIDAI website
1. First open UIDAI website https://resident.uidai.gov.in/.
2. Now move your mouse cursor over the ‘Contact & Support’ tab.
3. Here you will get the option of ‘File a Complaint’ under the ‘Grievance Redressal Mechanism’ section.
4. Click on ‘File a Complaint’ option.
5. Now a page will appear in front of you. Enter the date and time with the enrollment ID on this page.
6. After this, fill the name, mobile number, email ID, postal code, village / city name, complaint type, category.
7. After this, write your complaint and after entering captcha code submit the complaint.
Complaints can also be sent through post office
You can also send your complaint by post at the head quarters of UIDAI. The UIDAI states that the complaint received through post is sent to the Regional Office concerned after investigation. The complaints are then resolved by the Regional Office concerned.
