The company you quit will enter your PF account whenever you quit your job. However in some cases your old company may not update these details. This can cause problems for PF clients.
Previously, the Date of Living option was only available to companies. However, EPFVO later made the facility available to PF clients as well. This allows employees to update their Date of Living details now.
If you want to update your Date of Living details .. you must first go to the EPFO website. There you have to login with the help of UAN and password. Then go to the Manage tab. There is an option called Mark Exit. Details should be entered here.
