Preparations have been made to protect children from corona infection. Ghaziabad District Officer Ajay Shankar Pandey has ordered all the private hospitals in the district to make ten beds each of Piku and Niku in each hospital.
Explain that PIKU (Pediatric ICU) and NIKU (Neo Natal ICU) will have every facility (PIKU-NIKU Ward) for the treatment of children suffering from corona. Children will be treated in Piku and Niku wards
Apart from Santosh Medical College, Piku and Niku wards will also be prepared for the treatment of children in the Women’s District Hospital. At the same time, preparations for this have started in Santosh Medical College. In the hospital, there are 10 beds in Piku ie Pediatric ICU. All these beds will have oxygen and ventilator facilities. Along with this, adequate life-saving medicines and life-saving equipment will be present in these Piku and Nicu wards.
Preparation intensified before the third wave of Corona
Tell that children of 15 to 16 years will be admitted in Piku ward, then newborn children will be kept in Niku ward. Along with this, a blood bank has also been arranged in the hospital. Hospital MD Manish Sabarwal told that child specialists will look after the children.
The District Magistrate says that in view of the third possible wave of Corona, every possible arrangement is being made for the treatment of children. With this, efforts are being made to make more beds in more and more hospitals. So that children do not have any problem in treatment.
