The Central Government has transferred Delhi to Chief Secretary (Chief Secretary) of West Bengal, Alapan Bandopadhya. The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has directed the Chief Secretary to report to his office in New Delhi on 31 May. They have also requested the West Bengal government to relive them as soon as possible.
The incident of calling the Chief Secretary to Delhi has been seen after Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a meeting with officials and Chief Minister in Bengal today on the cyclone Yass. Mamta Banerjee arrived half an hour late in this meeting. He was accompanied by Alapan Bandopadhyay.
Let us know that his tenure as Chief Secretary of Alapan Bandopadhyay was coming to an end at the end of this month but just a few days ago, the Mamta government had extended his tenure for the next three months. Alapan Bandopadhyay is considered close to Mamata Banerjee. At the same time, Sukhendu Shekhar Rai, a Rajya Sabha member from Bengal, asked the transfer of the Chief Secretary, has it ever happened since independence? Forced central deputation of the Chief Secretary of a state. How much will Modi-Shah’s BJP fall? All because the people of Bengal humiliated both and elected Mamata Banerjee with a heavy mandate.
Approved the placement of Alapan Bandyopadhyay (West Bengal Chief Secretary) with the Government of India. Accordingly, the State Govt is requested to relieve him with immediate effect and direct him to report to the Dept of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Delhi by 31st May: DoPT pic.twitter.com/HeyRiEJ7UW

At the same time, several top leaders of the party, including Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda, on Friday alleged that Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting in West Bengal to review the damage caused by the cyclone ‘Yas’ Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee remained absent and by doing so, she taunted the constitutional norms and hurt the basic spirit of the federal system.
While JP Nadda described Mamata’s behavior as painful, Shah termed it unfortunate, while Nadda said that Mamata Banerjee’s policy and petty politics have troubled the people of Bengal. In a tweet, Nadda said, “This kind of behavior with the Prime Minister who came in the sense of giving assistance to the people of Bengal during the disaster period is painful.” This is an unfortunate example of public service resolutions and political differences above constitutional duty, which is also hurting the basic spirit of the Indian federal system.
