SBI has changed the limit of cash withdrawal from non-home branch for individual customers.
The second wave of Corona in India has proved to be more dangerous and more than 4 lakh cases started arriving in a single day. Although there has been a decline in the daily Kovid cases, yet, carelessness cannot be done at this time. Lockdown / Restrictions are still going on in many parts of the country and it seems likely to continue even further. In such a situation, the country’s largest bank State Bank of India (SBI) has changed the limit of cash withdrawal from non-home branch for individual customers and now up to a maximum of 1 lakh rupees in a day by going to non-home branch. Withdrawal of SBI has given information about this by tweeting.

These changes in cash withdrawal limit from non-home branch
- Through the savings bank passbook, you can withdraw cash up to a maximum of 25 thousand rupees every day for yourself from the withdrawal form.
- You can withdraw cash up to a maximum of 1 lakh rupees for yourself every day through a check.
- For a third party, you can withdraw cash of 50 thousand rupees in a day only through check.
Things to keep in mind
- The amendment made by SBI to the maximum cash withdrawal from non-home branch for Individuals will remain in force till 30 September 2021.
- Third parties will not be given withdrawal forms for cash payments, that is, they will be given cash only through checks.
- Third party KYC will be required to be submitted.
