Good News For Buyers, Gold Prices Fall Even Today, ₹ 7,000 Fell From Record High

New Delhi: Gold And Silver Prices Declined In The Indian Markets In View Of The Fall In Global Rates. On MCX, Gold Futures Fell 0.15% To 49,363 Per 10 Grams, While Silver Futures Fell 0.6% To 71,832 Per Kg. In The Previous Session, Gold Had Breached The 4-Month High Of Rs 49,700 Per 10 Grams.




In Global Markets, Gold Fell To A Five-Month High, As Higher US Bonds Weighed On The Precious Metal. Strong US Economic Data Also Took Away Gold’s Sheen. Spot Gold Was Down 0.1% At $1,898.58 An Ounce After Hitting A 5-Month High Of $1,916.40 On Tuesday. The Dollar Also Strengthened Against Other Currencies.

The Data Showed That US Manufacturing Activity Picked Up In May. Overnight, The US 10-Year Treasury Yield Hit A One-Week High. The High Return Increases The Opportunity Cost Of Holding Interest-Free Gold.

Gold Traders Will Be Eyeing The US Employment Report For May, Which Will Be Released On Friday. Top Fed Officials, Including Robert Kaplan And Charles Evans, Are Also Set To Speak Today.

Meanwhile, SPDR Gold Trust, The World’s Largest Gold-Backed Exchange-Traded Fund, Said Its Holdings Rose 0.3% To 1,045.83 Tonnes On Tuesday, From 1,043.21 Tonnes On Friday.
