Door to door ration scheme: Central and Delhi government stuck, read why LG rejected the file

Doorstep Delivery Ration Scheme Ban News: The Center has banned the Delhi Government’s Ghar Ghar Ration Scheme. Now the dispute between the Center and the Kejriwal government has intensified again.

New Delhi. Giving a big blow to the Kejriwal government of Delhi once again, the central government banned the Ghar Ghar Ration Scheme. Now once again a dispute has started between the Center and the state government regarding the door-to-door ration delivery scheme. The government says that the central government has stopped the door step delivery scheme of revolutionary ration of Delhi. The government claims that the LG rejected the implementation file of the door step delivery scheme of ration citing two reasons- first, the Center has not yet approved the scheme and second, a case is pending against it in the court. Used to be.

According to the Delhi government, within a couple of days, it was all set to start the ration distribution scheme in the whole of Delhi, which would benefit 72 lakh poor beneficiaries in Delhi.

Delhi Food Supplies Minister Imran Hussain said that as per the existing law no approval is required to launch such a scheme. Apart from this, the objections of the Center regarding the name of the scheme have already been accepted by the Delhi Cabinet.
Center had objected to the plan

This is not the first time that such a controversy has started regarding door step ration delivery. Even before this, the central government had objected that this scheme comes under the National Food Security Act of the central government, in which any change can be made only by the Parliament and not the state. Therefore, the Delhi government can neither change the name of this scheme nor can it be linked with any other scheme. In fact, the Delhi government wanted to start this scheme in the name of Chief Minister’s house-to-house ration scheme, to which the Center had objections. When there was a dispute, the Kejriwal government had agreed that the word Chief Minister would be removed from it. This word was removed in the cabinet meeting and then the Delhi government sought approval from the Center to start it under the name of house-to-house ration scheme. But now the Center has refused to allow this too.
