- Visit the website of PM Kisan http://pmkisan.gov.in/.
- There you will find an option Formers Corner.
- In this, an option will be given to register as a new farmer.
- Click on the option of New Form Registration.
- After this a page will open, in which you will have to fill your Aadhaar number and captcha.
- After filling the Aadhaar number, some personal information will also have to be filled.
- Information will also have to be filled about the land which is in your name.
Finally click on submit button.
Self reliant plan
The government has issued Kisan Credit Card to the farmers under PM Kisan Atma Nirbhar Yojana. Easy and cheap loan is available on this card. The loan payment has to be made within the stipulated time.
Loan repayment
No more than 3% interest is to be paid on the repayment of the loan. The money of Kisan Credit Card has to be returned with interest on time. If the payment is not made on time, the bank charges interest at the rate of 7 percent instead of 4 percent. Since its deadline has been extended this year, farmers have got some relief.
Government gave relief due to Corona
Last year, due to Corona, the government has extended the deadline for repayment of loans taken on Kisan Credit Card, giving relief to the farmers. Earlier it was increased from 31 March 2020 to 31 May 2020. After this, it was again increased to 31 August. This year in 2021 also, the government has extended the time limit under the loan moratorium by 3 months. In this way, now all the people will have to deposit the loan by June 30.
Loan up to 3 lakhs is available on Kisan Credit Card
Farmers are given loans up to Rs 3 lakh on Kisan Credit Card. Interest is charged at the rate of 9 percent on this loan. But the government gives a subsidy of 2 percent on this loan. In this way, farmers have to pay interest only at the rate of 7 percent. If the farmer goes to deposit the loan before time, then he is given a rebate of 3 percent. In this way the interest has to be deposited only 4 percent.
