On this, SBI tweeted and wrote – To cancel the registration of your mobile, please contact our YONO helpline number 1800111101 with your registered mobile number. Call our YONO helpline number 1800111101. Then select the language option. Press 1 for English and 2 for Hindi. Press 5 to select the option to de-register your mobile.

If you want to update your number in Online SBI account then this is the process

1. First of all log in to SBI Internet Banking.
2. Click on ‘My Accounts and Profile’.
3. After clicking on Profile, you have to click on Personal Details.
4. After this, you have to click on the mobile number and fill the new details on it.
5. You will have three options to update the number. The first option is of OTP. Internet Banking from Second Option ATM
6. Request approval and third is through approval from the contact centre.
7. After selecting the option, you have to enter the card details and captcha.
8. After that click on Proceed.
9. Now a message will come on your screen regarding mobile number updation.
10. An SMS will come on both your new and old mobile numbers, in which the activated numbers will be different.
11. You have to copy the ACTIVATE to the reference number written in both the messages and send it to 567676 from both the mobile numbers.
12. In this way, the process of updating the mobile number in the account of SBI will be completed.
