Pune: VVIP vehicles parked on the race track, the Sports Commissioner said after the dispute – Pawar sahib had a leg injury, that’s why permission was given

Cars of many big leaders including Sharad Pawar, Sports Minister Sunil Kedar, Aditya Thackeray were parked on the athlete race track in the sports complex.




The Maharashtra Sports Commissioner has given a clarification regarding the parking of VVIP cars on the race track of athletes at Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune. He said that Sharad Pawar had a leg injury, that is why his car was given permission to park there. So that they do not have to walk much.

Maharashtra Sports Commissioner Om Prakash Bakoria told ANI that unfortunately the vehicles were parked on the race track. For this he apologizes. Along with this, he assured that such incident will not be repeated again.

‘Permission given only to Sharad Pawar’s car’

In fact, the issue of VYP cars standing on the race track in the sports complex is gaining momentum. BJP MLA Siddharth Shirole said that the Mahavikas Aghadi leaders have damaged the sports infrastructure by parking their vehicles on the race track. Along with this, he said that the leaders of Maha Vikas Aghadi should apologize on this. Along with this, he has also demanded a fair investigation on this matter.

Let us tell you that on June 26, a program of International Sports University was organized at Shiv Chhatrapati Track. During this, many big leaders including Sharad Pawar, Sports Minister Sunil Kedar, Aditya Thackeray had reached. The leaders parked their cars on the athlete’s track. This matter is gaining a lot of momentum.

The current Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju had also expressed displeasure over the matter and said that there is a lack of adequate sports facilities in the country. All sports complexes need proper care. Pune District Information Officer has issued a clarification on this matter and apologized.
