Hausla Yojana: Women will be self-reliant, new avenues of employment will open

Hausla Yojana will increase the participation of women in areas like IT, telemedicine, e-learning business, fashion, painting, handloom, e-commerce etc.

Hausla Yojana: It is said that financial independence is very important in the life of any woman. It helps them to take their own decisions and make them self-reliant. Now in this connection, the Central Government has started the ‘Hausla’ scheme to make the women of Jammu and Kashmir self-reliant, provide energy and fulfill their dreams. ‘Courage’…. Its objective is to encourage the development of women and promote women entrepreneurship. According to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, through this a new chapter is beginning for the socio-economic development of women in Jammu and Kashmir. Under this, women will be given training and local women entrepreneurs will be encouraged and brought forward.

Women will get economic freedom from ‘Hausla’

Now the women of Jammu and Kashmir will be given market, network, training and support. The Hausa scheme will be run in a scientific manner. The Lieutenant Governor says that this scheme is a strong foundation, it will give economic and social freedom to our sisters and daughters. However, the government is currently working on three action plans. These include making women financially independent, ensuring their maximum participation in leadership roles and working for health and economic development. This will increase the participation of women in areas like IT, telemedicine, e-learning business, fashion, painting, handloom, e-commerce etc.

100 women will be included in the first batch
The first batch of ‘Hausla’ will be launched by industry partners and SME forums led by J&K Trade Promotion Organisation. Starting from July, this course will be of 5 months, in which 100 women entrepreneurs have been included. In this program, financial assistance will be given to women entrepreneurs at reasonable rates through banking-tie-up and policy incentives. Support and facilitation will be given to the participants to implement and avail Central and UT schemes like MUDRA and Seed-Capital Fund Scheme.

Female self employment more than males in rural areas
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha says that according to the report of the Periodic Labor Force Survey 2018-19, female self-employment in rural areas is 59.6 percent while it is 57.4 percent among men. On the other hand, 54.75 women are either employed or doing their work in urban areas, and only 47.2 percent of men are in regular jobs in comparison to them.

Once upon a time there was dominance of women in three main businesses.
It is said that when there is a historical beginning in the present, then some threads of history automatically open. Women once dominated the three main businesses of Jammu and Kashmir, including pashmina shawls, silk and handicrafts. You will be surprised to know that in 1946-97, the industry of Jammu and Kashmir sold shawls worth Rs 1 crore 10 lakh, silk worth Rs 97 lakh and other handicraft products worth Rs 3 crore 75 lakh. The maximum contribution was made by the women of Jammu and Kashmir.

On 5 August 2019, the women of Jammu and Kashmir were given their full rights and this was the return of the golden age. Since then, revolutionary steps are being taken continuously to empower women with financial help and confidence. The four basic mantras to make any plan successful are technology, right medium, active participation and implementation. This Hausa scheme will also work to give flight to women through these four basic mantras. Today, the aspirations of women have also increased, they want to move ahead in every field and that is why it is the responsibility of everyone to provide them with a proper platform.
