Vistara is providing flexi fare facility to passengers at an additional charge of Rs 499 under its Freedom Fare program.
Airline provider Vistara is going to present its ‘Freedom Fair’ program in a new way, which will be effective from July 6. Under this, passengers will be able to take advantage of Flexi Fare by paying Rs 499 per sector. This fee will be charged in addition to the standard economy and premium fares already decided.
Travelers will be able to make unlimited changes in their journey
Vistara said in a press release that by paying this additional fee, the passenger will be able to make unlimited changes up to 24 hours before his flight. This previously allowed a change for economy class up to 72 hours before departure. Whereas, for premium class, it was allowed to change its journey twice up to 48 hours before the flight. Along with this, passengers will also be allowed to carry an additional check-in bag of 5 kg with them.
Business class will not have to pay any extra charges
Business class passengers will get the facility to choose ‘Flexi Fare’ at no extra charge, under which they will be able to change their journey up to 12 hours before the flight.
Passengers will get relief in Corona
Vistara said that in this new structure, customers will get more flexibility in booking their flights than before. This will make it easier for the passengers to re-schedule their journey amid the current corona pandemic.
Vistara’s ‘Freedom Fairs’ program is a seamless, menu-based pricing model, which was launched in July 2018. It provides services to passengers on Pay For What You Value basis. Thereby, the passengers get the facility to choose the most suitable fare and services for them.
